Sea Sanctuary will be available to anyone (subject to an assessment) wishing to use our unique service. We will actively address the issue of rural isolation by offering transport to those individuals unable to use access our service otherwise. Sea Sanctuary will collect service users from local train stations or may consider a more extensive pick-up service (where appropriate).
We actively encourage self-referrals through either phoning, emailing or writing to us. This will give us the opportunity to discuss your needs and the best way forward.

Sea Sanctuary will provide a safe environment for the delivery of a number of Therapeutic interventions and educational courses. Therefore, it will be essential that all referrals are appropriately assessed at the earliest stage possible.
Our Core Assessments will cover basic information such as:
Referrals from statutory agencies (such as the NHS) will generate ‘care plans’ and these should, as a matter of course, include a risk assessment. Referrals received without any form of assessment will necessitate Sea Sanctuary completing a further ‘risk assessment’ providing us with the essential information to make informed decisions in relation to the well-being of the service user.
